Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for pulmonary medicine stepdown and med surg patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and manages trachs, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and stable vented patients. Ratios are typically 1:3-4 for stepdown and 1:4-6 for med surg.

• Provide direct care for progressive care and med surg patients
• Monitor trachs, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and stable ventilated patients
• Perform trach care and wound dressing changes
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the care team
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner
• Use lifts and support safe patient transfers

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Experience with trachs

• Cerner experience
