Travel Post Partum RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse will provide care for postpartum patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech and CPN and commonly sees 3:1 to 4:1 assignments, with occasional 2:1 assignments based on acuity. The setting supports antepartum and postpartum care with a collaborative team.

• Monitor postpartum and antepartum patients
• Assist with nonstress tests
• Manage hyperemesis care
• Support insulin, magnesium, and heparin drips
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Respond to changes in maternal or fetal status

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Postpartum, antepartum, and obstetric nursing skills

• Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience
• Meditech and CPN charting experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
