Travel Pediatrics RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will care for pediatric patients in a hospital pediatric unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 15-bed unit uses Meditech and has burn designation, with pediatric respiratory resources.

• Perform pediatric head-to-toe assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Assist with blood transfusions and nasogastric tube placement
• Support respiratory care, oxygen therapy, and chest tube maintenance
• Collect labs and provide specimen handling as needed
• Document care and collaborate with unit staff and specialists

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Pediatric assessment, IV therapy, medication administration, and respiratory support skills

• 1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience
