About this job

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will provide care for pediatric patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. The assignment serves neonates through adolescents and uses Epic charting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess pediatric patients and update care plans
  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments
  • Monitor vital signs and report changes
  • Collaborate with the care team and families
  • Document care accurately in Epic
  • Support pediatric procedures and patient education

Qualifications

  • Georgia Registered Nurse license
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • 2 years of recent pediatric experience
  • Pediatric facility and Pediatric MedSurg experience
  • 3:4 patient ratio experience and Level I trauma experience
  • Epic charting experience and prior travel experience

Preferred Skills

  • Pediatric neuro experience
  • Pediatric oncology experience
  • Pediatric step-down experience
