Travel Pediatrics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will care for pediatric and oncology patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and Alaris pumps and works with 1:3 to 1:5 patient ratios.

• Assess pediatric and oncology patients and report changes
• Administer ordered medications and IV therapies
• Monitor infusion therapy and respond to treatment reactions
• Document care in Cerner and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Support family teaching, safety, and discharge planning
• Use Alaris pumps and other standard unit equipment

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• APHON certification for oncology care
• Pediatric hospital experience
• Pediatric oncology experience
