Travel Pediatrics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will care for pediatric and oncology patients in a hospital unit on an 8-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, has 19 beds, and sees patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5.

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care for pediatric and oncology patients
• Assess patients and update care plans based on condition changes
• Administer medications, infusions, and other ordered therapies
• Monitor patients closely and report changes to the care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in the charting system
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• APHON certification
• Hospital pediatric experience

• Pediatric oncology experience
