Travel Pediatrics RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a 15-bed pediatric unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech and cares for children at 1:4 to 1:5 ratios with pumps and remote monitoring. Pediatric pharmacy and respiratory therapy support are available.

• Assess pediatric patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and oxygen support
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and support respiratory care
• Assist with nasogastric tube placement and enteral feedings
• Collect labs and maintain chest tube care
• Collaborate with unit staff on patient safety and family education

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification

• 1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience
