Travel Pediatrics OR RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Pediatrics Operating Room Registered Nurse will care for pediatric surgical patients in a children’s hospital operating room in San Antonio, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 7 ORs, uses Meditech, and supports general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, heme-onc, and neuro cases with 1:1 staffing.

• Prepare the operating room for pediatric surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team during general, orthopedic, urology, plastics, heme-onc, and neuro procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and safe perioperative workflow
• Complete patient assessments and documentation in Meditech
• Support instrument, supply, and equipment readiness
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Perioperative nursing experience
• Strong sterile technique and documentation skills

• Pediatric experience
