Travel Pediatrics OR RN in Newport News, VA

A Travel Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative care for pediatric surgical patients in a children's hospital in Newport News, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The role supports circulating and scrub care during pediatric procedures in an ambulatory surgery setting.

• Prepare the operating room for pediatric surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team during circulating duties
• Support scrub role duties as needed
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process
• Document nursing care and communicate changes to the team
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient handling

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse license or compact license accepted
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
• Recent operating room experience
• Recent pediatric operating room experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Scrub experience
• Day surgery experience
• PACU experience
