Travel Pediatrics ER RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care for pediatric patients in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The 23-bed unit uses Meditech and works at a 4:1 ratio, with surge staffing up to 5:1.

• Assess pediatric emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IVs, access ports and collect specimens
• Perform nasal washes, EKGs and Foley placement as needed
• Support point-of-care testing and monitor results
• Collaborate with providers and unit staff during rapid changes
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current pediatric emergency department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS and TNCC

• CEN
• CPEN
• US IV competency
