Travel Pediatrics ER RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a pediatric emergency department on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit has 23 beds, uses Meditech charting, and runs a 4:1 ratio. Ratios can reach 5:1 during surge.

• Assess pediatric emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IV access, venipuncture, and port access
• Collect specimens and support point-of-care testing
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with EKGs, Foley placement, and bedside procedures
• Work with the team to support safe pediatric emergency care

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current pediatric emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certification
• ENPC certification or PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC

• CEN certification
• CPEN certification
• Ultrasound-guided IV competency
