A Travel Pathology Assistant will assist licensed pathologists with gross examination and specimen dissection in a laboratory on a 13-week contract in Griffin, Georgia. The role supports surgical specimens, autopsies, accessioning, and pathology equipment. Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills help support the work.

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Describe and prepare specimens for histopathology processing
• Assist with autopsies and gross description of findings
• Operate and maintain pathology equipment
• Support accessioning and specimen tracking in computer systems
• Assist with quality assurance and quality control activities
• Photograph specimens and maintain photographic equipment
