Travel Pathology Assistant in Grand Forks, ND

A Travel Pathology Assistant Certified will assist with surgical specimen and frozen section dissection and gross description dictation in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The role supports anatomic pathology and quality processes.

• Prepare and dissect surgical specimens, including simple to complex cases
• Assist with frozen sections and maintain cryostats
• Dictate accurate gross descriptions
• Verify specimen identification and specimen handling accuracy
• Support quality control, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean grossing area
• Communicate findings with pathologists and providers

• ASCP certification, or ASCP exam readiness with certification prior to start
• Completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Professional communication and documentation skills
