Travel PACU RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric and adult surgical patients in an acute care hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on a 13-week contract. The unit has 10 bays, uses Expanse charting, and supports a mix of surgical and trauma cases.

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
• Assess airway, pain, vital signs, and level of consciousness
• Support recovery after pediatric and adult surgical cases
• Coordinate care with anesthesia and perioperative staff
• Prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Document care accurately in the charting system

• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of hospital experience
• PACU and pediatric PACU experience at Level II or higher

• ICU experience
• ER experience
• CPAN certification
