Travel Orthopedics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will provide patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in Asheville, North Carolina for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner PowerChart and supports general medical-surgical and telemetry care with standard inpatient equipment.

• Assess and monitor orthopedic, medical-surgical, and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and coordinate routine nursing care
• Start peripheral IVs and maintain vascular access
• Perform dressing changes and support wound care
• Monitor telemetry, report changes, and respond to patient needs
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team to maintain safe patient care

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience
