Travel OR RN in South Carolina

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide circulating and scrubbing support for adult surgical cases in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit has 10 rooms, uses EPIC, and is in a level I trauma, teaching, Magnet hospital.

• Circulate general surgery cases across surgical oncology, colorectal, MIS, plastics, endocrine, pancreaticobiliary and bariatric services
• Scrub operating room cases for the listed surgical specialties
• Assist with cardiovascular operating room procedures as assigned
• Prepare instruments, supplies and the sterile field
• Monitor the patient and support the surgical team during intraoperative care
• Document care in EPIC and complete handoff at case end

• Active South Carolina or multistate Registered Nurse license in hand at start
• 2 years of operating room experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• Circulating and scrubbing experience with general and cardiovascular cases
• EPIC experience
• Community hospital experience

• Scrub cardiovascular surgery experience
• Charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
