A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support neurosurgical cases in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role focuses on perioperative care for neuro surgery patients in a surgical setting.

• Prepare the operating room for neurosurgical cases
• Assist with sterile setup, instrumentation, and room turnover
• Monitor the patient during intraoperative care and respond to changes
• Support the surgical team with counts, supplies, and specimen handling
• Document perioperative care and maintain workflow during cases
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical staff throughout procedures

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Neurosurgical operating room experience
• Strong perioperative assessment and sterile technique skills
• Teamwork and communication skills in a surgical setting
