Travel OR RN in Kinston, NC

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care in an acute care hospital in Kinston, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 6-room unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and supports a wide surgical mix. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care
• Maintain sterile technique and support instrument counts
• Scrub and circulate across a broad surgical case mix
• Coordinate with anesthesia and the surgical team
• Document care and patient status in Epic

• Active North Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 5 years of operating room experience
• Epic charting system experience

• PALS
• CNOR
• Travel operating room experience
