Travel OR RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support elective surgical cases in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The main OR has 23 operating rooms, about 70 staff, a 1:1 patient ratio, and uses Meditech. It handles ortho, spine, general, CV, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology cases in a no-trauma setting.

• Support elective surgical cases across multiple service lines
• Prepare the operating room for safe patient care and procedure flow
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members during cases
• Monitor sterile technique and maintain a clean, organized field
• Document perioperative care in the electronic record
• Coordinate patient handoff before and after surgery
• Adapt to changing case needs with teamwork and flexibility

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current hospital acute care operating room Registered Nurse experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Ortho and spine experience
