Travel OR RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical care in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and serves a broad surgical mix in a Magnet-designated Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team with circulating and scrub support
• Coordinate instruments, supplies, and sterile field needs
• Monitor patient safety and support perioperative workflow
• Document care in the electronic chart
• Support a broad range of surgical service lines

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Operating room experience with general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma cases
• Broad surgical knowledge
• Surgical asepsis, sterile technique, and perioperative teamwork
