Travel Oncology RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care in an outpatient radiation oncology clinic in Atlanta, Georgia on a 13-week contract. The clinic treats about 35 to 40 patients a day and uses Cerner for charting.

• Provide direct nursing care for patients receiving radiation oncology treatment
• Assess symptoms, monitor treatment tolerance, and report changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on care plans, side effects, and follow-up needs
• Administer ordered medications and support chemo-related care as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Cerner
• Coordinate with radiation therapists and providers to support daily clinic care

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS certification
• Chemo certification
• 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
