Travel OB/GYN RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Gynecologic Oncology Registered Nurse will provide triage and preoperative and postoperative support in an outpatient clinic on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The clinic serves adults with low-volume but high-needs cancer and surgical cases and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage medication reactions, postoperative concerns, and symptoms of possible recurrence
• Respond to patient calls and Epic messages
• Provide preoperative and postoperative education and assessment
• Support adult gynecologic oncology patients through treatment follow-up
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up calls, and patient teaching
• Perform focused intake tasks such as vital signs, pain checks, and urinalysis

• Washington or Compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 2 years of adult RN experience in gynecology, oncology, surgical, PACU, SICU, or OR care
• Telephone triage, patient teaching, follow-up calls, and referral coordination
• Vital signs, pain assessment, height and weight, pulse oximetry, history and allergy review, and urinalysis

• Epic charting experience
• Voiding trials
• Port flushes
• OB/GYN, oncology, and general surgery clinic experience
