Travel OB/GYN RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel OB/GYN Registered Nurse will provide antepartum, labor, postpartum, and mother/baby care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit includes postpartum, antepartum, labor, triage, and operating rooms, with Epic charting and common ratios of 1:3 and 1:6.

• Assess antepartum, labor, postpartum, and couplet-care patients during admission, recovery, and ongoing treatment
• Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean care, and recovery in operating room and triage settings
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments for obstetric patients
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient education in the chart
• Collaborate with providers and the care team to coordinate safe obstetric care

• Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of OB nursing experience and prior travel experience
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS
• Fetal Monitoring Certification and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG competency
