Travel NICU RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill neonates in a neonatal intensive care unit on a 15-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit is Level III, averages 10 patients, uses Epic, and has a 1:3 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor and assess neonates with complex needs
• Manage ventilators, oxygen delivery, and bubble CPAP support
• Assist with blood product administration and arterial line care
• Perform central line care, blood draws, and tube feedings
• Support phototherapy, thermoregulation, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certification
• Stable certification
• 3 years of NICU experience
• Level III or IV NICU experience, high-risk delivery experience, and ventilator experience
• Epic charting experience

• Teaching hospital experience
