Travel NICU RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in a hospital NICU on a 15 week contract in Los Angeles, California. The level III unit serves babies from 22 weeks to term, averages 10 patients, has 23 beds, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and stabilize critically ill newborns
• Monitor ventilatory support and oxygen delivery
• Administer feedings and manage enteral tubes
• Support blood product administration and central line care
• Assist with arterial line monitoring, phototherapy, and thermoregulation
• Coordinate care with the neonatal team for high-risk infants

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certification
• 3 years of NICU experience in level III or IV care
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with ventilators, blood products, arterial lines, central lines, and neonatal feeding support

• Teaching hospital experience
