Travel NICU RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The 12-bed unit has an average daily census of 8.5 and team support from respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, interpretation services, and a unit secretary. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide direct care for neonates in the NICU
• Monitor vital signs, labs, and respiratory status
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Assist with ventilator support, CPAP, HFNC, and oxygen delivery
• Support high-risk deliveries, lines, feedings, and neonatal procedures
• Educate families and reinforce developmental care

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP or NRP Advanced certification
• 1.5 years of NICU experience
• Community hospital experience
• Charting system experience

• STABLE certification
• Mother/Baby and Pediatrics experience
• NICU IV experience
• Teaching hospital experience
