Travel NICU RN in Eureka, CA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates in a Level II NICU at an acute care hospital in Eureka, California on a 13-week contract. The unit has a small census, 5 beds, and uses Epic charting. It supports infants needing CPAP, UAC and UVC care, and high flow support.

• Monitor neonates and respond to changes in condition
• Manage CPAP and ventilator support
• Assist with UAC and UVC line care
• Support high-risk deliveries and infant stabilization
• Provide breastfeeding support and handle expressed breast milk
• Document care and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 2 years of NICU experience
• High-risk delivery support
• Breastfeeding support and expressed breast milk handling
• Ventilator management, CPAP, BIPAP, PEEP, UAC and UVC care

• STABLE
• Eat, sleep, console
• Previous charge experience
• Epic charting system experience
