Travel NICU RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a level III neonatal intensive care unit in Apple Valley, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates and infants with prematurity, RDS, sepsis, jaundice, and NAS, with Epic charting and ratios up to 1:3 based on acuity.

• Provide direct care for neonates and infants in the NICU
• Monitor respiratory status, thermoregulation, and vital signs
• Administer neonatal medications and IV therapies
• Assist with central lines, feeding tubes, and neonatal procedures
• Support ventilator and CPAP care for infants with respiratory needs
• Educate families and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP Advanced, and PALS
• 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in NICU
• Level III NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital and prior travel experience

• Blood and blood product administration
• High-risk delivery support
• Therapeutic hypothermia and nitric oxide experience
• Gastroschisis, omphalocele, and chest tube management
