Travel NICU RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for neonates and infants in a level III NICU on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit has 14 beds, uses Epic, and supports about 190 births a month.

• Monitor and assess neonates and infants in a level III NICU
• Manage respiratory support, including CPAP, BIPAP, and ventilator care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and neonatal dosage calculations
• Care for central lines, PICC lines, UACs, and UVCs
• Perform feedings, thermoregulation, phototherapy, and developmental care
• Educate families and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse License
• BLS, NRP Advanced, and PALS
• 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in NICU and level III NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• High-risk delivery support and mother/baby experience
• Blood product administration and conscious sedation
• Gastroschisis, omphalocele, and chest tube care
• Nitric oxide, therapeutic hypothermia, and Vapotherm
