About this job
A Travel Neurology Registered Nurse will provide care for medical and post-operative patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Gainesville, Florida. The 44-bed unit serves oncology and med surg patients and uses Meditech for charting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess medical-surgical and neurology patients
- Monitor post-operative and oncology patients
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Manage blood products and TPN support
- Assist with PCA, oxygen, suction and SCD use
- Document care in Meditech
- Support interdisciplinary care planning
Qualifications
- Florida Registered Nurse license
- Medical-surgical nursing experience
- Strong acute care assessment and IV therapy skills
