A Travel Neurology Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a neurology unit in a critical access hospital in New Hampton, Iowa, on a 26-week contract for patients with neurologic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess neurologic status and report changes promptly
- Administer medications and support ordered treatments
- Monitor vital signs, pain, and patient safety
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Educate patients and families on care plans
Qualifications
- Iowa Registered Nurse license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Strong neuro assessment and patient care skills
