Travel MRI Tech in Newberg, OR

A Travel MRI Tech will provide magnetic resonance imaging support in a hospital in Newberg, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and handles varied neuro, GI, and vascular cases across two scanners.

• Prepare patients for MRI studies and explain imaging steps
• Operate MRI scanners and support protocol selection
• Position patients and use coils for quality images
• Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration
• Perform image post-processing and PACS documentation
• Support adult inpatient, ICU, and outpatient MRI cases

• ARRT MR or ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• Community hospital and prior travel experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with adult MRI studies, PACS, contrast media, peripheral IV starts, image post-processing, and Philips systems

• Diffusion imaging beyond brain
• Liver endo imaging
