Travel MRI Tech in Napa, CA

A Travel Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist will provide MRI imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses GE 1.5 Signa and Optima systems for neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCP, and breast imaging, with no cardiac cases.

• Perform MRI studies for adult and geriatric patients
• Prepare patients and complete safety screening
• Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration
• Position patients and use surface coils for imaging
• Acquire and process images for multiple exam types
• Support neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCP, and breast exams

• Current California Radiologic Technologist certification
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of MRI experience
• Peripheral IV access and contrast media skills

• California IV certification
• Chest imaging experience
• ER and trauma experience
• GE MRI system experience
• Community hospital experience
