Travel MRI Tech in Edmonds, WA

A Travel MRI Tech Registered Technologist will support MRI imaging in an acute care hospital in Edmonds, Washington on a 13 week contract. The unit serves adult and pediatric acute care, ICU and ER patients, with overlapping technologist coverage and MRI safety support. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform MRI exams for adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, ER and trauma patients
• Prepare patients and administer contrast media per protocol
• Obtain quality images using coils and standard MRI sequences
• Assist with MR angiography, MR venography and other specialty studies
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Coordinate with transport support and overlapping coverage to maintain workflow

• ARRT MR certification
• Washington state license with MRI designation
• BLS certification
• 2 years of MRI experience in adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, ER and outpatient settings
• MRI safety, contrast media preparation and radiation safety
• Siemens MRI system experience

• Management or lead experience
• Peripheral IV insertion
• Advanced cardiac, vascular and post-processing MRI studies
