Travel Medical Lab Tech in Bethel, AK

A Travel Medical Lab Tech Medical Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory testing and quality control in a laboratory setting on a 26-week contract in Bethel, Alaska. It supports chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology testing as a generalist and works with clinical laboratory instrumentation.

• Perform laboratory tests on routine specimens
• Run quality control procedures and record findings
• Operate clinical laboratory instrumentation
• Verify and report test results accurately
• Support chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology workflows
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Direct Medical Laboratory Assistants as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Board eligibility by NCA or ASCP
• MT certification by ASCP or CLS by NCA within one year of employment
• 2 years of experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology
• Independent work and leadership with Medical Laboratory Assistants
• Clinical laboratory instrumentation and generalist skills
