Travel Medical Assistant in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support outpatient spine clinic care in West Hollywood, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents through geriatrics and uses Epic charting. It performs ultrasound guided injections and trigger point injections in a busy outpatient setting.

• Room patients and collect vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with spine clinic visits and procedures
• Perform intramuscular injections and venipuncture as assigned
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate Epic documentation
• Support care for adolescents, adults, and older patients in a busy clinic

• BLS certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Medical assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Orthopedics and pediatrics experience
• Dressing change, suture removal, wound care, and clean-catch urine collection skills
