Travel Medical Assistant in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Medical Assistant will support patient-facing clinical research trials in Santa Monica, California on a 13-week contract. The unit focuses on neurology, stroke, ophthalmology, Alzheimer's, MS and Parkinson's studies, and uses Epic.

• Support investigators during enrollment, study visits and follow-up care
• Draw blood and assist with specimen collection for study participants
• Coordinate patient-facing clinical trial activities across multiple therapeutic areas
• Document study information accurately in Epic and required records
• Help maintain protocol compliance, confidentiality and audit readiness
• Assist with training new research staff as needed

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• California blood draw authorization
• BLS certification
• 5 years of clinical research experience managing patients
• Epic experience
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel

• CCRC certification
• Neurology clinical research experience
• Spanish language skills
• Korean language skills
