Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a medical-surgical telemetry unit during a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics with Epic charting and a level III trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Assess adults and geriatrics with complex medical and neurological conditions
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, ports, and feeding tubes
• Provide respiratory support, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Coordinate care with therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• Telemetry competency and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with IV starts, central lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Experience with adult acute care ratio of 1:5-6

• Previous charge experience
