Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Newburyport, MA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in an acute care hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts on a 4-week contract. The unit supports med-surg and telemetry patients, with ratios of 5:1 on med-surg and 4:1 on telemetry.

• Assess and monitor med-surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes in condition
• Implement care plans and respond to patient needs
• Coordinate with the care team on admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• 2+ years of med-surg nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and acute care assessment skills
