Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California, on a 26-week contract. The unit serves adolescents through geriatrics and uses Allscripts charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Care for medical-surgical and post-surgical patients
• Manage IV therapy, blood products, and lines
• Support ventilator, oxygen, and tracheostomy care
• Administer heparin and cardiac drips
• Respond to rapid response and code events

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 3 years of RN experience
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic experience
• Ventilator patient care experience

• Allscripts charting experience
• Neuro stepdown experience
• Tracheostomy care and ABG interpretation
