Travel Med Surg RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care for medical-surgical and neuro patients in a hospital unit on a 16-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit uses Epic charting, follows a 1:6 ratio, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients with neuro needs
• Monitor neurologic status and report changes promptly
• Administer oxygen therapy and support non-invasive airway management
• Manage peripheral lines and maintain IV access
• Apply isolation precautions and infection control practices
• Coordinate care during rapid response and code events
• Support pre- and postoperative neurosurgical care

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Experience with CVA, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury care
• Skills in oxygen administration, peripheral line care and non-invasive airway management
