Travel Med Surg RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct inpatient care in a rehabilitation hospital on a 16-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit uses Epic, serves about 1:6-8, and is part of a teaching hospital with 91 staffed beds. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide routine medical-surgical nursing care to adult inpatients
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Support rapid response and code team events
• Manage peripheral lines and oxygen delivery
• Assist with non-invasive airway support
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience with rapid response and code team support
• Peripheral line care, oxygen administration, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Charting system experience
