Travel Med Surg RN in Lebanon, NH

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult trauma and acute care surgical patients in a hospital inpatient surgical unit on a 12-week contract in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The unit serves trauma and postoperative patients and includes negative pressure isolation rooms.

• Monitor trauma and postoperative patients
• Manage chest tubes, drains and central lines
• Administer IV drips and monitor telemetry
• Support tracheostomy and laryngectomy care
• Provide complex wound care and blood draws
• Assist with rehabilitation and recovery needs

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or compact license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1.5 years of recent equivalent acute care medical surgical experience
• Experience with chest tubes, drains, trachs, laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, central line care, blood draws and IV drips

• Level I Trauma center experience
