Travel Med Surg RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for patients on a 30-bed med surg unit in Arlington, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and commonly sees post-surgical and CIWA patients, with typical ratios around 1:6.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical and post-surgical patients
• Monitor CIWA patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer pain management interventions and evaluate patient response
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility using lift equipment
• Perform routine assessments and support unit flow with the charge nurse
• Document patient care and updates in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Med-surg or acute care experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Prior experience in a busy hospital med-surg setting
