Travel Mammography Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel Mammography Technologist will provide breast imaging services in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 30 visits per day, and has 2 rooms. Any charting system is used, and interpretation services are available.

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammography
• Assist with needle localizations, fine needle aspiration, and stereotactic biopsy
• Prepare patients and position them for accurate imaging
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE during patient care
• Document studies in the charting system
• Support communication with interpretation services

• Current BLS certification
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammography skills
• Fine needle aspiration, needle localization, and stereotactic biopsy experience
• Any charting system experience
• Strong patient positioning and communication skills
