Travel LPN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Licensed Practical Nurse will provide bedside care on a general medicine unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 18-bed unit serves adult med-surg telemetry patients, uses Cerner PowerChart, and supports a 6:1 ratio in a Magnet hospital that is also a comprehensive stroke and Level II trauma center.

• Monitor telemetry and report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and support routine treatments
• Assist with peripheral IV starts and dressing changes
• Provide wound vac and general medical-surgical care
• Document care and patient responses in the charting system
• Collaborate with RNs and the care team to coordinate daily care

• Active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience

• Charge nurse experience
