A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide patient care and assist with safe maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Templeton, California.

• Assess laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout care
• Implement and update individualized nursing plans
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Educate patients and families on recovery and newborn care

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Labor and delivery nursing clinical skills
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Multidisciplinary care coordination skills
