Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for high-risk patients in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 26-week contract in Seattle, Washington. Epic charting and electronic fetal monitoring are used, and first-time travelers are welcome. The unit serves midwifery and private obstetric clients.

• Circulate for cesarean deliveries and support the operating room team
• Provide baby nurse care during delivery and through newborn transfer to postpartum
• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal response to treatment
• Assist with high-risk vaginal deliveries and newborn assessment
• Support postpartum recovery, couplet care, and breastfeeding education
• Document care in Epic and collaborate with the care team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• High-risk Labor and Delivery and newborn care experience
• BLS and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience

• ACLS
• AWHONN Advanced
• Antepartum or Mother/Baby experience
• Previous charge experience
