Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a high-risk, high-volume hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. Epic charting and electronic fetal monitoring are used, with newborn care provided during delivery and transfer. First-time travelers are accepted.

• Circulate for cesarean births and support the delivery team
• Provide newborn care during delivery and through transfer
• Monitor fetal status with electronic fetal monitoring
• Assess mothers and newborns, including thermoregulation and cord care
• Support high-risk labor, vaginal delivery, and recovery needs
• Administer ordered medications and obstetric infusions

• Washington Registered Nurse license or compact multistate license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• 3 years of experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Epic charting experience
• Labor and delivery and newborn assessment skills

• ACLS
• AWHONN Advanced
• Obstetrical triage and IV start and maintenance experience
• Nitrous oxide experience
