Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and newborn nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit uses Epic and works at a 1:3 ratio. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults.

• Monitor labor, maternal, and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal, assisted, and cesarean deliveries
• Support newborn assessment, resuscitation, and thermoregulation
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Educate parents on recovery and newborn care
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate care

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
• 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• AWHONN Advanced
• Trauma Level II experience
• IUPC placement and calibration
• Spiral electrode placement
